Keeping Documents Under Control

One of the things businesses have a lot of is digital files. Different versions of these files can often cause confusion and result in delays to projects. Foresight's in-built document version control ensures that only current and approved versions of documents can be seen.

If you needed the latest approved version of a specification in a hurry, would you know where to find it?

Custom Workflows

Every business is different, and sometimes so are the flow of projects. Foresight allows custom workflows to be defined, specifying in what order stakeholders must review and approve documents.

For example, when building a website, documents might need to go through the following approval flow:

  1. Design Department
  2. Technical Department
  3. Account/Project Management
  4. Client

Revisions can be made at any time, and uploaded back into Foresight. When this happens, the revised document must go through the same workflow once again.

Monitor Your Submissions

If you submit a document for approval, you can monitor it all of the way through the workflow. If your document gets rejected at any time, it will be indicated in a separate list where you can then modify as appropriate and resubmit for approval.

Keep It Together

Each project has its own document store, making it easy to locate documents when needed and keeping clutter to a minimum.

Central Storage

Each version of every file uploaded into Foresight is stored on the server in a simple-to-backup filesystem structure.
